I would like to congratulate Candice Bergen, the new Interim Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.
Bergen, Member of Parliament for Portage—Lisgar, Manitoba, has my full support and my commitment to continue working hard for this Party, Barrie-Innisfil and this great country.
The job ahead will be challenging, as we work to build support across the country – in urban and rural communities across all regions of Canada.
We are facing many difficult and complex challenges, but I remain extremely optimistic about the future of our country and the Conservative Party of Canada.
Our country needs a strong Conservative Party to replace the divisive, corrupt Prime Minister and Liberal government that I believe Canadians are increasingly growing frustrated with.
Conservatives will lead this country out of the current troubling times, back to prosperity at home and back to our respected and serious place on the world stage.
We are at a critical moment in our history. Sadly, our country is more divided than ever before. Uncertainty and the pressures of skyrocketing inflation and the crushing economic impact of the lingering pandemic have crushed our economy have left families in every sector and every region anxious about the future.
I am looking forward to working with Interim Leader Bergen and my fellow Conservative MPs to unite our Canada and help our country heal from the wounds inflicted by Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government.
We will be strong, united and ready to replace this divisive government when the time comes.
