I was happy to meet with 12-year-old Oscar Oliver recently in Barrie and to purchase a backpack to assist with his campaign to help children impacted by the war in Ukraine.
Every $50 donation to Oscar’s campaign will buy a new backpack filled with school and educational supplies, toys, candy, toiletries, cosmetics and other gifts for a Ukrainian child.
Backpacks will be personalized with an inspirational message of love, peace and hope from a Canadian child and Oliver and his mother plan to drive through Poland to deliver the backpacks in late April.
