As countries around the world listen to public health officials and reopen their borders,  a predictable increase in Canadians looking to renew their passports has highlighted the complete failure of this Liberal government’s ability to provide basic services to Canadians.

Days-long-lines, a complete break down of Service Canada’s phone service, and an inability to provide adequate solutions to address the issue has had a direct impact on this critical arm of the government to function for Canadians.

This year is the 10-year anniversary of implementing the ten-year Canadian passport, another reason Service Canada should have been prepared for increased demand.

Canadians rightfully expect to be able to get basic government services from Service Canada.
