MP John Brassard launches photo contest for 2026 Community Calendar
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Oct. 31, 2025: Barrie South-Innisfil Member of Parliament John Brassard is inviting residents and local businesses to show their Canadian pride and submit photos for the 2026 community calendar.
From Lake Simcoe’s sparkling shoreline, peaceful parks and trails to community barbecues, hometown hockey moments and your most creative red-and-white celebration, if it reflects the heart and spirit of Canada and our beautiful community, we want to see it!
“Canadian pride lives in everyday moments,” MP Brassard said. “This contest is about celebrating the people, the businesses and the places that make Barrie South-Innisfil such a remarkable part of our country.
“I look forward to seeing photos that capture the heart of this incredible community.”
Anyone living or working in Barrie South-Innisfil can enter. Selected photos will be featured in MP Brassard’s official 2026 calendar, which will be delivered across the riding. Photographers will receive full credit and hometown bragging rights!

- Include: Your name, whether you’re from Barrie or Innisfil and a brief caption describing your photo.
